Nepal narrowly lost to West Indies by 9 runs in their warm-up match for the ICC U-19 Women’s World Cup held in Malaysia. Chasing a target of 110 runs set by the West Indies, Nepal was bowled out for 100 runs in 19.1 overs.

Captain Puja Mahato contributed 18 runs off 20 balls with three fours, while Kiran Kunwar made 18 runs off 14 balls before being run out, a turning point in the game.
