You are really naughty Panchi, her mother shouted. "You went with your friends; you should not have gone with them," she murmured as she lit the oven fire. She prepared RARA noodles and gave them to her daughter. Her father came inside the kitchen area. He patted on her head and told her mother, “Let her go to play with her friends; it’s her time." She seemed happy and flew from there.
Panchi grew day by day, and she was like a rose in a garden. Everybody would come to their house and say, “How beautiful she is." Both Panchi’sfather and mother would be happy to listen to these words from the mouths of villagers. Almost all the villagers would gather in their house every day morning and afternoon as if they organized a tea party in the house. The gathering would serve as a platform for everything from heated political discussions to criticism of women in the society.
