10-Year-Old Boy Drowns in Irrigation Canal in Jhapa

Jhapa. A 10-year-old boy has died after drowning in an irrigation canal built for irrigation in Buddhashanti Rural Municipality-6 of this place.

District Police Office Jhapa's Deputy Superintendent of Police Ranjan Awal informed that Bisham Limbu, the 10-year-old son of Buddhiman Limbu, a resident of Buddhashanti Rural Municipality-4 Aitabare, died after drowning in the irrigation canal of Captain Janasamuha located at Timai Khola, Buddhashanti-6 on Thursday at around 1:30 PM.
