Nepal’s Incessant Rain Studios Working on Original Animated Feature ‘Lost in Mandala’ for Global Audiences

Kathmandu. After years of bringing Hollywood stories to life through animation and visual effects, Nepal’s Incessant Rain Studios is preparing to tell a story of its own. The company has begun work on Lost in Mandala, its first original animated feature film inspired by the landscapes, spirituality, and mythology of the Himalayas.

For nearly 15 years, Nepal-based Incessant Rain Studios has contributed to more than 150 international film, television, and gaming projects, including Hollywood productions such as House of the Dragon and John Wick: Chapter 4. Now, the company is moving beyond its role as a service provider and repositioning itself as a full-fledged creative technology company focused on developing original intellectual property. Founder and co-CEO Kiran Bhakta Joshi shared details of the studio’s new strategic direction in an interview with TechPana.
