Lumbini Chief Minister Directs Clear Policy for Chemical Fertilizer Distribution

Butwal. Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya has directed to make a clear and uniform policy for the distribution of subsidized chemical fertilizers. On Monday, Chief Minister Acharya gave this instruction to the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives during a discussion held at the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers' office.

He said that the fertilizer distribution process should be managed by prioritizing farmers cultivating sugarcane, banana, and maize along with food crops. Chief Minister Acharya emphasized that the work procedure for fertilizer distribution should be based on the needs of the actual farmers and the nature of the crop. Mentioning that farmers who change crops are not getting chemical fertilizers on time, he said that a policy will be formulated to improve the distribution system to solve such problems.
