Truck Accident on Tribhuvan Highway Kills One, Injures Another

Makwanpur. One person died and the driver was injured when a truck carrying vegetables met with an accident on the Tribhuvan Highway in Tiltaar, Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-2.

The accident occurred around 2:30 AM on Wednesday when the 6-wheel box truck, registration number Madhesh Province 03-002 Kha 5095, carrying vegetables from Palung to Birgunj, slipped due to rain and dense fog on the downhill road, lost control, and fell about 100 meters below into the Chandi River.
