Parliamentary Committee Discusses Nepal Rastra Bank Act Amendment Bill

Kathmandu. The clause-wise discussion on the bill to amend the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058 BS continued in the meeting of the Finance Committee under the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

In the meeting held at Singh Durbar, discussions were held on the tenure of the Governor and the Board of Directors mentioned in the bill. Some MPs in the meeting opined that the five-year tenure of the Governor and the Board of Directors should be maintained, while some MPs suggested that it should be fixed at four years.
