Spark Hydroelectric Company Begins Tunnel Blasting for Tamor-Mechi Hydropower Project

Kathmandu. Spark Hydroelectric Company Limited has formally started tunnel excavation (tunnel blasting) for its ambitious project, the 128 MW capacity 'Tamor-Mechi Hydropower Project'.

The underground work of the project has gained momentum with the explosive excavation (blasting) of the tunnel on Wednesday during a special ceremony organized in Phungling, Taplejung.
