B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital Prepares for Bone Marrow Transplant Unit

Chitwan. B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital has started preparations for the physical and medical requirements for 'Bone Marrow' transplantation. The Chinese government is advancing this project by constructing the building, purchasing equipment, and training doctors and nurses.

Hospital's Acting Executive Director Dr. Umesh Nepal informed that a Chinese team had stayed here for two weeks a few days ago and discussed the necessary infrastructure. The team also took suggestions after meeting with technicians from Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Urban Development and Building Construction Division Office, and Nepal Electricity Authority Bharatpur Distribution Center.
