Sources have informed that he is coming to Nepal on July 31 to receive the honorary title of Chief of the Nepali Army. General Seth, who is coming to Nepal at the invitation of Nepali Army Chief Ashok Sigdel, is scheduled to stay in Nepal for 5 days. There is a tradition between Nepal and India to confer the honorary title of Chief on each other's army chiefs. Seth has a program to hold high-level meetings including with Chief of Army Staff Sigdel. He has also scheduled a meeting with President Ramchandra Paudel. However, sources have informed that a schedule has not been made to meet Prime Minister Balendra Shah. Sources have stated that efforts are being made to arrange a schedule as he has expressed a desire to meet Prime Minister Balen, but a positive response has not been received from Prime Minister Balen so far. Chief of Army Staff Sigdel has also been trying to arrange a meeting between Army Chief Seth and Prime Minister Balen. Sigdel had met with Prime Minister Balen on July 19. In that meeting too, Sigdel had informed that the Indian Army Chief Seth was coming to Nepal. Previously, every army chief who came from India returned after meeting with the Prime Ministers.
