Rabi Lamichhane's China Visit Uncertain Amidst Preparations

Kathmandu. The China visit of Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the ruling party Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has become uncertain. The party had started preparations for Lamichhane to visit China in the last week of July or the first week of August at the initiative of the Chinese side.

Although it was said that the visit date would be finalized through the initiative of both the Chinese Communist Party and the RSP, it has not been finalized yet, informed General Secretary Bipin Kumar Acharya. Chairman Lamichhane and General Secretary Acharya held discussions on Thursday. Acharya informed that decisions have not been made regarding who will participate in the high-level visit from the party's side, how many days the visit will be, and whom to meet.
