Chitwan . An Army personnel succumbed to injuries from a wild elephant attack in the Chitwan National Park, Chitwan district.

Gupta Bahadur Thapa, corporal of Khadga Battalion of Nepal Army, was on patrol when a wild tusker named Dhrube attacked him around 6 pm on Saturday, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.
