Government Office Records Safe Despite Protests, Says Official

Kathmandu. Deepak Lamichhane, Joint Controller of the Office of the Controller General of Accounts, said that although government office records were destroyed during the Janji movement, the voucher records are safe.

He stated in a discussion at the Public Accounts Committee regarding the records burned due to the Janji movement that the voucher records are safe in the systems operated by the office for allocation and expenditure details.
