UML and NCP agree on power sharing in provincial governments

Kathmandu, Aug 11: The CPN (UML) and the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) have reached a three-point on power sharing in the provincial governments.

UML Chair KP Sharma Oli and NCP Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ signed an agreement that states that the number of seats each party has in the respective provincial assembly will generally be considered the main basis when forming a provincial government.
