Bhojpur's Tembkemaiyung Rural Municipality and Indian Embassy Sign Agreement for Modern Agri Collection and Sales Center

Bhojpur. A modern agricultural produce collection and sales center will be constructed in Paanchdhare of Tembkemaiyung Rural Municipality-9. An understanding document was signed on Tuesday between the rural municipality and the Indian Embassy in Nepal for this purpose. The understanding document was signed by the Rural Municipality's Chairman Saroj Basnet and the Indian Embassy's Development Partnership Counselor Avinash Kumar Singh.

The total cost of the center is NPR 98,867,785. The agreement states that 95 percent of the total project cost will be provided by the Indian Embassy, while the remaining five percent and value-added tax (VAT) will be borne by the rural municipality. Rural Municipality Chairman Basnet informed that the construction period for the center has been set at 15 months according to the understanding document.
