Koshi Province Police Face Infrastructure, Staffing, and Crime Challenges

Biratnagar. The physical infrastructure of the police in Koshi Province is pathetic. According to statistics, only 355 units have their own buildings. 87 police offices are still operating in rented houses. 339 offices are dependent on government or various institutional buildings. How can the police, who do not have their own houses, guarantee permanent security to the citizens? The question is serious.

The number of resignations indicates extreme dissatisfaction within the police organization. In Koshi Province alone, 105 people resigned in the fiscal year 2080/081, and this number increased to 340 in 2081/082. In 2082/083, 166 people also left their jobs midway.
