WHO Warns New Ebola Outbreak in DRC Could Be Deadliest

New York. The World Health Organization (WHO) has stated that the new Ebola infection spreading in the Democratic Republic of Congo is heading towards becoming the deadliest in history.

Speaking to reporters, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that if the current pace continues, this outbreak will surpass the 2014-2016 epidemic, which claimed at least 11,000 lives.
