CPN-UML Secretary Bhattarai Highlights South Asian Geopolitical Challenges for Nepal

Kathmandu. CPN-UML Secretary and foreign affairs expert Dr. Rajan Bhattarai has stated that the political changes happening in South Asia and the competition between great powers have added new challenges for Nepal.

Speaking at an interaction program on 'Nepal's Foreign Policy: Opportunities, Challenges, and Future Direction' organized by the Nepal Law Society and the Constitution Watch Group, he made the aforementioned statement. Dr. Bhattarai emphasized the need for a detailed analysis of the wave of regime change seen in major South Asian countries and the potential for cooperation or conflict between great powers that it could lead to.
