BV Nepal Scam: AI-Generated Vending Machines, Unrealistic Returns and Money Mules Used to Defraud Nepalis

Kathmandu. An international scam network has been found targeting Nepalis by exploiting low levels of digital financial literacy and the desire to get rich quickly through a platform called BV Nepal. Nepal Police’s Cyber Bureau issued a special notice on Wednesday identifying BV Nepal as an online scam and warning the public not to invest money in the platform.

BV Nepal is not a legitimate business but a well-planned Ponzi scheme that primarily uses social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp to attract victims. The scammers advertise opportunities with messages such as “Earn daily income from home” and direct interested users into WhatsApp groups.
