Finance Secretary Urges Broader Financial Access Beyond Bank Branches

Kathmandu. Merely expanding bank branches to local levels is not enough to ensure true financial access, said Finance Secretary Dr. Ghanashyam Upadhyay.

Speaking at a Finance Committee meeting on Thursday, he clarified that the presence of bank branches in rural areas does not automatically equate to financial access.
