Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma Calls for Internal Dialogue to Resolve Party Disputes

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma has stated that internal disputes within the party should be resolved through internal dialogue and consensus rather than getting entangled in court proceedings. Presenting his views at the ongoing Central Working Committee meeting at the party's central office, Sharma urged to shed the psychology of 'victory and defeat' and focus on the 15th General Convention.

Vice President Sharma informed that dialogue has started in a new way within the party after the division bench of the Supreme Court upheld the Election Commission's decision and dismissed the writ on April 4. 'It is not beneficial for the party to wait for court verdicts and then go to the 15th General Convention with the psychology of someone having won and someone having lost,' Sharma said, 'That is why we put forward a 7-point written proposal for consensus on May 16.'
