Three Nepali Pilgrims Die in Bus Accident in India

Rautahat. Three people died when a bus carrying pilgrims from Rautahat for the Bolbam yatra to Baba Dham in Jharkhand, India, met with an accident. The bus, with registration number Na 6 Kha 1554, carrying pilgrims who had left for the Bolbam yatra from Pothiyahi of Garuda Municipality-6 in the central part of the district last Sunday, collided with a cargo truck in the Satgawan area of Jharkhand on Friday morning around 3 AM.

Locals reported that 60-year-old Nawal Kishore Jaiswal, his wife Sundar Bala Devi, and 10-year-old Shivam Mahato, all from Pothiyahi of Garuda Municipality-6, died in the accident. Upon receiving news of the accident, relatives of the deceased and injured left for India in four reserved vehicles on Friday morning.
