Gagan Thapa Advocates for Promoting Citizen Initiatives Over State Control

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has stated that when citizens try to do something new, the state should promote and support their efforts rather than control them.

Speaking at the 'Green Table-Film Debate' program organized at the party office Sanepa on Friday, President Thapa expressed the view that the mindset of trying to control citizens and businessmen with a stick as soon as they are in government, thinking they will do bad things, is wrong.
