Youth Arrested with Heroin in Dhanusha

Janakpurdham. Dhanusha police have arrested a youth with the narcotic drug brown heroin. According to the District Police Office, Dhanusha, the arrest was made on Friday with approximately 65 grams of brown heroin and a digital scale for weighing narcotics while he was sitting inside a deep boring in Aurahi Rural Municipality-5. The arrested person is Umesh Mandal, 28, of Videha Municipality-8. Police spokesperson and information officer Madhusudan Neupane said that the arrested Mandal has been brought to the District Police Office for further investigation. According to Neupane, 12 absconding defendants in various cases were also arrested on Friday. Among those arrested, 10 were for assault and 2 were for domestic violence, with fines and sentences imposed. The police stated that they were handed over to the District Court, Dhanusha.
