Confederation of Industries Urges Effective Implementation of Budget Provisions

Kathmandu. The Confederation of Industries of Nepal (CNI) has drawn the government's attention to the effective implementation of the provisions related to the private sector and economic prosperity included in the current fiscal year's budget. Speaking at a 'Budget Watch' program organized by the Confederation, Chairman Virendra Raj Pandey emphasized the outcome-oriented implementation of policy announcements rather than just the announcements themselves.

The Confederation informed that it has identified 70 points related to the private sector and the economic sector this year and prepared a detailed 'Budget Watch' document. The document clearly outlines the role of the concerned bodies, necessary legal and policy reforms, and implementation steps. The Confederation stated that these points will be classified into seven sectoral themes and separate dialogues will be held with the concerned ministries in the coming months.
