Kaski Farmers Receive Rs 22 Million in Milk Production Incentives

Kaski. Through the milk production-based incentive program operated in the last financial year, Rs 22 million in incentive grants have been distributed to farmers in Kaski. According to the Veterinary Hospital and Animal Services Office, under the production-based incentive program, the target of producing 4.4 million liters of milk in the last financial year was met as per the target.

Farmers have been provided with incentive support through cooperative institutions at a rate of Rs 5 per liter for producing the said quantity of milk, informed the head of the office, Dr. Grishma Neupane. According to him, out of the Rs 22 million budget allocated for the milk production-based incentive program, the entire allocated amount has been spent, achieving 100% financial utilization.
