Video of Rifle Firing Claimed to be in Panauti, Kavre Found to be from Afghanistan

Kathmandu. A video has been posted on social media claiming that a young man fired a rifle and that the incident took place in Panauti, Kavre. Young people can be heard speaking Nepali in the video. In a geography that looks like Nepal's, a young man fires one round of bullets. The police have investigated the incident after the video was posted on social media. Upon investigation, it has been confirmed that the incident did not take place in Nepal.

SSP Santosh Khadka of the Valley Crime Investigation Office said that the incident was from Afghanistan. He said, ‘It was not an incident from Nepal.’
