Federal Parliament's Both Houses to Convene Today

Kathmandu. Meetings of both houses of the Federal Parliament, the House of Representatives and the National Assembly, are being held today. The meeting of the House of Representatives has been called at 1:00 PM in Singhdarbar, while the meeting of the National Assembly is scheduled to convene at 1:15 PM. Both meetings today have a potential agenda of presenting proposals for consideration on various important bills.

In the meeting of the House of Representatives, Speaker Dolprasad Aryal will present the proposal for consideration of the 'Mines and Minerals Bill, 2083'. Similarly, Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security Sita Badi will present the 'Child Related (First Amendment) Bill, 2083'. Minister Badi will also present the proposal for consideration of the 'Human Trafficking and Transportation Control (First Amendment) Bill, 2083'. Additionally, Minister of Foreign Affairs Shishir Khanal will present the proposal for consideration of the 'Passport (First Amendment) Bill, 2083' to the House.
