25 US States Sue Trump Administration Over New Tariffs

Washington D.C. Twenty-five Democratic-led US states have filed a lawsuit in court against the new double-digit tariffs imposed by the Donald Trump administration on goods imported from various trading partners.

The states have accused Trump of exceeding his legal authority to impose tariffs and attempting to re-implement old tariffs, which were deemed illegal by the Supreme Court, under the guise of a new legal basis.
